Dalat: Flowers, Mountains, Coffee, and Captivity
TRAVELLING TO DALAT
A few years ago we started researching and dreaming about a journey that would allow us to travel long-term. We wanted to stop taking short vacations and instead start really immersing ourselves in different cultures. This dream journey was that we take a year off work and travel the world. Never let go of your dreams, they really do come true. We are now living OUR dream. We hope that this article and photos on this page may someday inspire others to reach their travel dreams. There are some sacrifices that we made along the way in order to get to the starting line. As challenging as many of these things were there are absolutely no regrets and we will repeat it again and again. Dream big and do it!The afternoon I arrived at Dalat, the sundown was fabulous. The one that each picture taker needs. I, however, didn’t get any image because I was on the taxi from the airport to our guesthouse. I was able to appreciate and enjoy it, but not photograph it. We had a really very pleasant new guesthouse in a great central location. Enormous comfortable beds, beautiful and clean bathrooms, a shower with lots of hot water and pressure! You start to enjoy the little things being on the road for a while.
This place is beautiful! Hope to meet all your dreams!
